Coachman Laser 640-4
Year: 2011
Berth: 4

This Coachman Laser 640 is a large, very high specification, twin axle 4 berth caravan with a large lounge, fixed double bed and spacious end bathroom,

Previously sold through us to the present owner, this 2011 Laser 640-4 model is complete with all the manuals, documents and CrIS registration.  The Laser 640-4 has been fitted with a remote control motor mover, making siting this caravan on driveways or pitches a piece of cake.  It also comes with most of the accessories required to start holidaying in this caravan.  It will be cleaned inside and out by us and will be fully serviced and damp-checked by an independent approved caravan workshop, with the service report available to view, for complete peace of mind.

The size and living space of this big tourer makes it perfect for use as a large touring caravan for a family, or as a holiday home alternative to a static caravan, or for live-in accommodation.

Coachman’s objective, “to produce caravans of the highest quality” was embodied in the 2011 Laser which Coachman promised would offer “home from home comfort….featuring every luxury you can imagine”. The 640/4 was a new model, designed to be a family caravan which doesn’t compromise on space in any area.
Externally, upgrades such as the phantom tracker alarm system, AL-KO secure wheel locks and AL-KO ATC Trailer Control indicate that this caravan doesn’t skimp on equipment. Thicker aluminium sides, finished in gloss polar white are set off by attractive graphite and silver decals as well as Vortex graphite alloy wheels, ensuring that the Laser has a commanding presence whether towed on the road or when pitched. Acrylic capped full height ABS front and rear panels, 45mm thick floor, laminated roof and grade 3 thermal insulation ensures that this is a caravan which is easy to keep looking nice, whilst remaining warm inside, even in the depths of winter.

At the front of the Laser, the lounge has deep comfortable sofas and is perfect for relaxing or enjoying a meal with family or friends using the dining table provided. It has two single beds or a large double utilising a pull out slat system. There is also a chest of drawers with a small ‘pull out’ table, and if a larger table is required there is a 'fold out' dining table which has its own stowage within the kitchen cupboard. There is plenty of storage in the overhead aircraft style lockers, which are finished with metallic trim, and also under the seats. 3 double glazed, poly plastic windows combine with the large Heki 2 panoramic roof light to create an airy and light feel to the living area. The upholstery is finished in luxury neutral fabric and is complemented by matching scatter cushions and curtains. The loose-fit carpets are laid over a luxurious floor covering. Discreetly fitted within one of the overhead lockers is the Pioneer entertainment system with remote control, radio, CD, MP3 player, ipod connectivity and a DVD player (with playback routed to the two TV points - one in the lounge and one between the mid-section and the bedroom).
The windows, roof lights and door all come with fly screen and blackout blinds and the side and rear windows are flush fitting Seitz cassette units.

Moving back through the Laser, there is a well-appointed kitchen with 3 way 107l Thetford fridge (with freezer compartment) and Thetford Aspire oven, grill, and 4 ring gas hob with electric ignition and flame failure. The built-in microwave oven is set at eye level and there is ample food and utensil storage. An Omnivent extractor roof light is situated above the cooker.
This large twin axle caravan's main distinguishing feature is a luxurious fixed double bed (located on the nearside at the rear of the caravan) with a spacious end bathroom at the very rear.
The bedroom has a fixed bed with a 'superior' pocket sprung mattress for total sleeping comfort. The slatted base has gas supports which allow access to a large storage compartment under the bed (this storage can also be accessed via a locker door from the exterior). There is a spacious wardrobe and ample overhead aircraft style lockers. Above both sides of the bed are LED reading lights. A Heki 2 panoramic roof light is set above the bed adding to a feeling of space and enables star gazing directly from your bed on a balmy summers night.
A fixed bed usually means a small bathroom but not in the Laser 640-4.
The spacious bathroom at the rear of the caravan has a large fully lined ABS shower cubicle, and sports a chrome finished mixer tap and ‘ecocamel’ shower head. There is a Thetford c-250 cassette toilet (with electric flush), washbasin, vanity unit, mirror, wardrobe and ample storage.

Heating and hot water is supplied by the Truma Ultra store water heater and the Truma 3002 heating system can be run off gas or electric. The heater has both space heater and blown air functionality, which combined with the grade 3 thermal insulation, means this caravan can be used year-round.

There is a large front locker, LED awning light, external Gas BBQ socket, external 240V socket, heavy duty corner steadies, steel spare wheel (in Al-ko underslung carrier) and Al-ko chassis with 3004 stabiliser. There is a 13 pin DIN standard socket to connect to the car towing electrics. On the roof of the caravan is a Status 530 directional aerial to ensure you pick up a good signal wherever you are. The exterior also features an awning heater vent, external TV aerial and satellite sockets and an external shower point - very handy for rinsing dogs or wetsuits!  as previously mentioned, the Laser comes with a remote motor mover making it easy to manoeuvre and site on tricky pitches.

Included in the sale is a number of caravanning essential extras (details to be confirmed).

In summary, this luxurious 4 berth would be ideal for a couple or family looking for the convenience of a fixed bed, large bathroom and lots of living space.  This caravan has been fully serviced and damp-checked for complete peace of mind and the included extras will make this Coachman Laser exceptional value for money.  It's been fully valeted inside and out and is waiting for a new owner to take it away on its next exciting family holiday.
