It has been fitted with a motor mover, which has been tested and is working. The caravan is Cris registered and comes complete with all the original manuals and paperwork. It will be Cris checked by us and fully serviced and damp checked by an independent caravan workshop providing real peace of mind for a new owner.  At the service the caravan had new tyres, new water inlet, and new fridge circuit board.

It will suit a couple or small family looking for a spacious, well- equipped caravan, with a fixed bed and lots of storage, at a fantastic price.

The 2009 Sterling Eccles models are a great combination of luxury, high specification and practicality, and have retained their modern appearance, even alongside newer caravans, thanks to their curved front lockers. Externally finished in one-piece thick gauge high gloss aluminium sidewalls and curved shaped tinted windows, the Eccles also features smart alloy wheels and a Status 530 TV aerial as standard, along with a number of interior and exterior extras which distances it from its cheaper Europa siblings. This caravan could easily be towed by a large family car and will be ready to hitch up and go!

The caravan is built on an AL-KO galvanised chassis, with shock absorbers, gas assisted handbrake, an AL-KO stabilising hitch and heavy duty corner steadies. The body features thick aluminium sidewalls, acrylic capped new-design curved ABS front and rear panels and a laminated roof.  Grade 3 insulation in the walls and styrofoam laminated floor and ceiling ensures that this caravan has the best thermal insulation in its class.  The gloss white exterior finish is set off by attractive grey Eccles decals and silver 'Storm' alloy wheels.  There is a 14 pin plug for the towing electrics, an awning/exterior light and an external locker with a 230V socket and an external BBQ point.

The exterior door with window, blind, fly-screen and waste bin leads to a spacious and impressively appointed interior.

At the front of the Eccles Jewel, 3 panoramic style polyplastic windows, like the windows throughout the caravan, are fitted with night latches, blackout blinds and fly-screens.  There is a large lounge area with two single beds or a large double utilising a pull-out slat system mounted under the chest of drawers which has a fold-out table.  For mealtimes, there is also a fold away dining table which has its own stowage compartment.  The space-frame seating lifts up to access a large storage space underneath and is upholstered in an attractive and practical stone fabric, complemented by matching curtains, bolster and scatter cushions and there are matching drop-in carpets to cover the wood-block effect flooring.

There is plenty of storage in the overhead aircraft-style lockers which, like all the furniture in the Sterling Eccles Jewel, are finished in light Scandanavian wood-effect.  There are two TV points with 12v, 230v and aerial sockets, giving a choice of locations for a TV, with signal provided by a Status 530 directional aerial.  Above the sitting area is a Heki 2 panoramic roof light giving a light and airy feel. There is a branded CD player conveniently located within one of the over-head lockers.

A well-appointed kitchen is positioned in the middle section of the Eccles Jewel. The kitchen is equipped with a Stoves recessed granite-effect sink and chrome mixer tap, with washing up bowl and chopping board.  There is also a dual fuel hob with 3 gas burner gas and 800w hotplate hob with electronic ignition and flame failure device, and below is a domestic style glass-fronted Thetford thermostatically controlled oven and grill and a built-in 800w microwave oven. There is ample food/utensil storage space and worktops and a bi-directional 3 speed Omnivent fan set into the ceiling. Completing the kitchen equipment, is a Thetford 107 litre 3-way fridge with freezer compartment.

Further back, the fixed double bed is positioned on the nearside of the caravan and the bedroom can be partitioned from the rest of the caravan, for total privacy. There is a TV station is positioned in the partitioning wall so that a TV can be viewed from either the bedroom, or the living area. The bed has a premium 'Ulta-Comfort' mattress and there is lots of storage underneath the spaceframe bed, in the overhead aircraft style lockers and in a large wardrobe. There are 2 reading lights positioned over the bed, and a small roof light.

A domestic-style door and handle at the rear of the caravan leads to the washroom, in space saving wet-room layout, which features a Thetford c-250 cassette toilet with electric flush, a gloss white ABS shower tray and a white ABS sink in a vanity unit.

Heating in the Europa 495 is provided by the dependable and effective Truma 3002 Ultraheat blown air heating system (dual fuel), and the Truma Ultraflow system provides hot water for the kitchen and washroom on demand.

Lighting is a mixture of 12v and mains 230v energy-saving LED lighting, including corner and over-locker ambient lighting, task lighting and ceiling lights and a user-friendly power control unit. Another Eccles upgrade is a generous number of 230v sockets, totalling five in all.

With the extras, this high-spec and spacious Sterling Eccles Jewel touring caravan is excellent value for money and would be ideal for a couple requiring an affordable spacious 4 berth caravan with a fixed bed layout, which is ready to hitch up and take away for a comfortable and fun caravanning holiday!
