This 2019 Elddis Chatsworth 554 caravan has been known to us for many years having been sold through us previously and now is with us again due to the present owner just not using it and chosing to sell it along with all of the caravanning accessories you could need. It has been serviced every year (except 2020 due to covid), and has all of the manuals and documents. It will be cleaned internally and externally by us and also go through an NCC Approved workshop full service for that extra "Piran Peace of Mind".
A lot of extras are being sold along with this caravan and are all included in the price; these include - a new awning which was only purchased in 2024 - Dometic Rally Airpro 260 and comes with groundsheet, curtains, storm straps and pegs, water pump, electrical hook up lead, intruder alarm with tracker, wheel lock, Hitch cover, Aqua Roll, Wastemaster and waste pipe, 2 x gas bottles, fire extinguisher, caravan step, levelling ramps, TV, kettle, toaster, gas spanner. To buy the extras included in the sale price of this caravan from a dealer would cost you thousands of pounds - all making this caravan great value for the price.
This caravan has the highly desired and very popular fixed transverse bed layout with the full width rear bathroom. To the front of the caravan is the lounge area which comprises of two opposing settees that at night convert into a large double bed. These settees are separated to the front of the caravan by a drawer unit that also has a pull out table which is plenty large enough to have a meal for two at. The large windows, fixed panoramic window and extra long skylight give plenty of natural light and at night all have fly screens and black out blinds ensuring the caravan can be kept dark even on early sunny mornings. There is ample storage space in both the overhead lockers as well as the under seat storage and drawer unit to the front. There are two speakers for your music and 4 spotlights for more subtle evening lighting or for reading.
The middle of the caravan houses the well equipped kitchen. On one side there is a built in microwave with a cabinet above it and a sideboard and cupboards below it. To the other side is a black sink with chrome mixer tap, under-counter 3-way Dometic fridge freezer and a Thetford hob (3 x gas and 1 x electric hot plate), and separate grill and oven. Hot water and heating is ably supplied by a Whale hot water tank and blown air heating system. Also in the ceiling above the kitchen is a Omnivent roof light which can suck out air as well as blow cool air into the caravan.
As you move further towards the rear of the caravan you come to the main bedroom area. Here there is a double fixed transverse island bed with a wardrobe to each side of it for each occupant, 2 x overhead lockers, 2 x spotlights, a large Heki roof light. To the foot of the bed is another window and on the side wall a place to hang a TV if so desired. Underneath the bed which lifts up on gas assisted struts is a huge storage space where you can store even more items. Under each of the two wardrobes are drawer units and on the rear wall a large mirror with a spotlight directly above it.
The full width rear bathroom comprises of a Thetford electric cassette swivel toilet, vanity sink with a cupboard below and a mirror on the wall and a full sized shower cubicle.
The caravan runs on an Al-Ko chassis with their ATC anti-snaking system and 3004 stabiliser. It has alloy wheels and an external gas BBQ point and a hot air outlet for an awning!
Whilst this is a 4-berth caravan it will more likely be used as a very grand 2-berth with the lovely front seating area, large kitchen and to the rear effectively an en-suite bedroom.
