Technical Specifications:
This 6 berth Avondale Dart 556-6 has a very desirable double lounge layout with fixed bunks. It comes from a smoke and pet free owner. It has had regular servicing - last service 2015. During the last service a leak was discovered and there is significant damp around the front panel. However, the caravan is being sold at a price to reflect this and with a little TLC the water ingress could be halted so the damp became no worse. Other than this the caravan is in lovely condition and would be very usable.
It has a very versatile layout with 2 singles or a 'pull out' double in the front of the caravan, in the midsection of the caravan is a well appointed kitchen and the wetroom/toilet. The dinette can be converted into bunk beds. At the rear of the caravan is a pair of fixed bunks.
The front section of the caravan has a lounge area with large panoramic windows, aircraft style overhead storage cupboards and a chest of drawers with a fold out table. The wooden slats for the pull out double bed roll out from under these drawers. The front lounge comfortably seats 4-6 people. Set into the roof of the lounge is a Heki rooflight - this gives the lounge a light and airy feel as well as plenty of ventilation when fully opened.
The well appointed kitchen has a 4 ring gas hob, separate grill and oven, an Electrolux 3-way fridge with a full width ice box, (A kettle and toaster included with sale). There is plenty of food/cooking utensil storage space, and ample worktops.
The wetroom has a swivel Thetford cassette, a shower, sink, and bathroom cabinet. Between the wetroom and the kitchen is a large wardrobe.
At the rear of the caravan are fixed bunk beds which have a curtain that can be drawn to separate them from the rest of the caravan. There is storage beneath the bottom bunk.
The Truma blown air heating, space heater and Ultrastore water heater all work off electric and gas. The water system is run by a submersible pump. The. All the windows are fitted with a fly screen, a blackout blind and curtains. The door (stable style) also has a fly screen which can be pulled across. There is an external 240v socket.
Included in the sale is are 2x Eurovent full length awnings 3m wide, both canvasses are in good condition. There is an awning annex, curtains and a breathable groundsheet. There is one set of metal poles. One set of fibreglass poles (of which 2 poles which require attention/replacement).
