If you are looking for a great value 4 berth tourer with a fixed bed, on a lightweight single axle chassis, which can be towed with ease, this will be the caravan for you. This Bailey Senator Series 6 Indiana is a high specification 4 berth single axle caravan with a fixed bed for the ultimate night's sleep, and comes loaded with all the manufacturer's extras you require for a perfect family caravanning holiday. This range of caravans by Bailey was their flagship range and very highly reviewed by many of the caravan magazines and online forums.
It has a very practical layout for a couple or family caravanning holidays. In the front of the caravan are twin singles or a large double bed, and in the rear, there is a separate bedroom with a fixed double bed. Alongside the bedroom is a wet room with Thetford cassette toilet (electric flush) and shower.
It comes with a full Inaca awning, with curtains, external blinds and storm straps and other extras including a hitch lock, wheel-lock, Aquaroll, hook up cable, 1 x gas bottle, hitch cover, caravan step and leisure battery. The caravan is Cris registered and comes complete with all manuals, paperwork and service history. It will be fully valeted, serviced and damp checked for real peace of mind for a new owner.
It will suit a couple wanting a spacious caravan with a fixed bed, which can be left made up for the duration of a holiday. It would also suit a family with children who can use the front lounge seats as single beds.
The front section of the caravan has a spacious lounge area, with large aircraft style overhead storage cupboards and a chest of drawers with a fold-out table. The wooden slats for the pull-out bedroll out from under these drawers. The lounge comfortably seats 4 or 5 people. Set into the roof of the lounge is a large Heki roof light - this gives the lounge a light and airy feel as well as plenty of ventilation when fully opened. The soft furnishings are a light colour with a contemporary design. The detachable carpets have a practical wood effect vinyl flooring underneath.
The well-appointed kitchen has a four ring gas hob, separate grill and oven, a microwave oven and fridge with a full-width icebox (the fridge is not presently functioning on gas and requires further servicing). There is plenty of food/cooking utensil storage space, ample worktops. There is a Omni-vent 3 speed extractor fan.
The rear bedroom has a Heki rooflight and can be completely partitioned from the rest of the caravan. It has a Heki roof light set above the bed and lots of storage in overhead lockers, under the fixed bed and in a large wardrobe. The fixed bed has a very comfortable and luxurious mattress. There are reading lights mounted above either side of the bed. To one side of the bed is a vanity unit with sink, mirror and cupboard.
The Truma blown air heating, space heater and Ultrastore 800w water heater both are dual fuel (electric and gas), there is also an onboard water tank to increase water carrying capacity. The caravan is fitted with both 12V and 240V lighting system. All the windows are fitted with a flyscreen and a blackout blind. There is a smoke detector.
There is a TV station with 230V, 12V and coax aerial sockets. Mounted on the roof is a status aerial (digital compatible).
Externally, there are alloy wheels, with brand new tyres, an external BBQ point and an external 240v. A spare wheel is carried in the ‘under-slung’ carrier.
