This 2009 4 berth Bailey Pageant Series 7 Sancerre, is a superb example of this versatile touring caravan and will provide a practical and comfortable caravanning experience for both couples and families.
Registered and purchased in Sept 2009, this extremely well-presented Bailey Pageant Series 7 Sancerre passed its recent Service and Damp Check with flying colours, requiring only a new butane hose. The tyres were also replaced at the same time. The caravan comes with a full annual service record and every receipt from new, as well as all the relevant handbooks, providing peace of mind for its new owner. There have been no children, dogs of smokers inside the caravan and the the interior and exterior photographs demonstrate that the owners have maintained the caravan to an extremely high standard. This caravan has been valeted and is ready to go!
All Bailey Pageant Series 7 models have an impressive 7'6" wide, strong bonded construction body shell. Bold sweeping graphics brighten up the exterior. The flat panel roof allows for better storage at the front and the rear of the caravan, and a larger floor space provides more internal space. Towing is made safer and smoother through the use of shock absorbers on the chassis and factory fitted Al-Ko ATC Trailer Control system.
(click here to find out more) and alloy wheels with a steel spare wheel mounted in an under slung Alko carrier. There is a gas assisted hand brake and the caravan is fitted with 13 pin towing electrics.
As the photographs show, Bailey upped their game with the Pageant Series 7, updating interiors with a new range of fabric designs and furniture. In this Sancerre, Italian designer locker doors and a 'Bailey Teak' furniture veneer give a high quality finish. This caravan has ‘Hilton’ design premium grade Belgian upholstery and complementary curtains and scatter cushions, all of which are in excellent condition due to the previous owner fitting over-covers from new.
The Sancerre has a very popular layout with 2 singles or a 'pull out' double in the front of the caravan, a large fixed bed, the kitchen in the midsection of the caravan and in the rear of the caravan there is a very spacious bathroom with toilet, sink, vanity unit and large separate shower cubicle.
The Truma blown air heating, space heater and Ultrastore water heater run from both electric and gas. The caravan is fitted with both 12V and mains lighting system. All the windows are fitted with a fly screens, blackout blinds and curtains which match the fabric in the lounge.
The front section of the caravan has a lounge area with large panoramic windows, aircraft style overhead storage cupboards in Bailey Teak finish and a chest of drawers with a fold out table. The wooden slats for the pull out bed roll out from under these drawers, creating a very large double bed (6’ 10” x 4’ 10”). The lounge comfortably seats 4 people and there is an additional leaf table with it’s own storage locker. Set into the roof of the lounge is a Heki 3 roof light which gives the lounge a light and airy feel as well as plenty of ventilation when fully opened. The caravan has practical beech wood effect vinyl flooring throughout. There is an inbuilt JVC CD/Radio/MP3 player with iPod connectivity and JVC cone speakers in the front.
Energy saving 12v LED pelmet lighting is featured along the length of the interior, and combined with nickel-effect task lamps, gloss black and silver sockets and switches and silver handles, the whole interior feels light, spacious and extremely comfortable.
The well appointed kitchen has an unused Spinflo Midi Prima Mk 3 oven and grill 4 ring gas hob, a 3-way Dometic fridge with a full width ice box, stainless steel sink with drainer and a factory-fitted Daewoo 700w microwave oven. There is plenty of food/cooking utensil storage space, and ample worktops. There is a bi-directional omni-vent extractor fan provides excellent ventilation.
The bedroom can be partitioned from the rest of the caravan and features a a fixed bed and a large wardrobe unit with 5 shelves, 5 overhead storage lockers and an opening Heki roof-light.
The very spacious end bathroom has a Thetford C-250 swivelling cassette toilet with electric flush, a separate large 'walk-in' shower cubicle, sink, bathroom cabinet, wardrobe and mirror.
Included with the sale is an Isabella Magnum carbon-poled awning (with an inner tent, ground sheet, pegs etc), 2 x Aqua roll containers, Wastemaster, 25m hook up cable, 2 X butane gas bottles, smoke detector, SAS wheel clamp, Al-Ko hitch lock, washing line, 85ah leisure battery, freestanding washing line and aluminium caravan step.
