This 2006 Bailey Discovery 100 4 berth caravan has been serviced and damp-checked this week, and is in stunning condition, having been thoroughly cared for by its two previous owners. Registered and purchased in March 2006, this Bailey Discovery has been in the possession of the current owners since August 2010 and comes with all the required documentation including the original Owner’s Manual and Bailey Registration form, technical instruction paperwork and a comprehensive service and damp check record with all accompanying receipts.
The present owners have not had children, dogs or smokers inside the caravan and the the interior and exterior photographs demonstrate that the owners have maintained the caravan to an exceptionally high standard. This caravan really is ready to go!
All Bailey Discovery models have an impressive fully bonded exterior body-shell, built on an Al-Ko galvanised chassis, with a gas strut assisted handbrake. A large full-width panoramic window is set into the front panel and simple but attractive striped graphics brighten up the exterior.
On the Discovery range, Bailey used ‘Oasis’ upholstery, soft furnishings and matching curtains, coupled with 'Bailey Teak' furniture veneer give the caravan a light and practical finish. The upholstery soft furnishings are in excellent, unmarked condition.
The Bailey Discovery 100 has a very popular 4 berth layout with 2 singles or a 'pull out' double in the front of the caravan, and a dinette/ 2 bunk arrangement at the rear of the caravan. The kitchen is in the midsection of the caravan and on the opposite side, there is a practical wet-room with toilet, sink, vanity unit and shower unit.
The Truma 3002 3kw blown air heating, space heater and Ultrastore water heater run from both electric and gas. The caravan is fitted with both 12V and mains lighting system and has two 230v sockets. There is also a 12amp switch mode battery charger and RCD/MCB on-board protection
The front section of the caravan has a sweeping u-shaped lounge area with a large panoramic window, aircraft-style overhead storage cupboards and a full-size fold down table which forms the additional base for the large 6’8” x 5’10” double bed. The lounge comfortably seats four people and set into the roof is a sunroof which gives the lounge a light and airy feel as well as plenty of ventilation when fully opened. The caravan has practical beech wood laminate effect flooring throughout.
12v lighting is featured along the length of the interior, and combined with nickel-effect task lamps and silver locker handles, the whole interior feels light, spacious and comfortable.
The well appointed kitchen has a Spinflo 3-ring gas hob and grill with recessed glass-hinged lid, a 3-way Thetford 90 litre refrigerator with a full width freezer compartment, and a Spinflo recessed enamel sink and and drainer with ceramic ball mixer tap. There is plenty of food/cooking utensil storage space, and ample worktops. There is a bi-directional omni-vent extractor fan provides excellent ventilation.
The bathroom has a Thetford C-200 swivelling cassette toilet with integrated header tank, Whale Watermaster water inlet and submersible pump, shower unit with ceramic ball mixer tap, washroom hand basin with ceramic ball mixer tap and a fully -fitted vanity unit, wall mirror and integral storage.
Included with the sale is a full-length Ventura Atlantic awning in good condition with curtains and pegs, and Aqua-Roll, Wastemaster and mains pump, gas bottle, 25m hook up cable, smoke-detector, caravan steps and 2 Fiamma levelling ramps.
In summary, this 2006 Bailey Discovery 100 is offered in beautiful condition and both the interior and exterior photos show that the caravan has been exceptional well looked after.
