Technical Specifications:
Built on a lightweight chassis and incorporating the latest in caravan design for the time, this 4 berth Abi Marauder 450 CTL is based on a layout which features a front lounge and rear dinette. The exterior bodywork is finished in glace white, with two tone green lower body and pine green coachlines. A single large double glazed ABS panaoramic window provides the view from the lounge, with the two bench seats converting into a double bed, using pull out slats stowed in the front compartment. There is also a folding dining table provided that fits between the seats. The furniture is finished in warm Cherry Wood effect and the upholstery in flame retardent velour, is complemented by co-ordinated linet velvet curtains, fitted carpets and reversible scatter cushions. All the windows are tinted, double-glazed units.
Moving back through the caravan, the kitchen features a 3 way Electrolux fridge, an enamel 2 burner hob/grill with glass hob cover, and an enamel sink and drainer, with sliding toughened glass worktops.
The washroom, on the opposite side of the caravan, has a casette toilet, shower tray, mirrored vanity unit and folding sink. The washroom is in excellent condition. (please note the bathroom tap requires a little TLC).
Heating is supplied by a Carver space heater.
At the rear of the van, a useful second dinette area provides additional living space and converts into 2 single bunk beds and this area can be separated from the rest of the caravan, for privacy.
This caravan really is something of a bargain, and is in exceptional condition for its year. It is Cris registered, and comes with service history and all the original equipment instructions and Abi manuals. It is being sold with a desirable full Isabella Olympia awning with glass fibre poles, breathable carpet, curtains and pegs as well as a host of useful extras including an Aquaroll, hook-up cable, smoke detector, caravan step, waste water container and towing mirrors.
Given the condition, we can see no reason why this Marauder should not provide many more years of comfortable caravanning holidays. However, at this bargain price, the caravan will not be serviced and damp-checked prior to sale and we advise that this be undertaken prior to the caravan being used for touring holidays, as a matter of course.
