The 2009 Ace Jubilee range combined striking new exteriors and re-designed interiors, with a host of upgraded equipment as standard, with the Statesman benefitting from a spacious layout with a very desirable 'island bed'. This Statesman is in excellent condition both inside and out and is being sold with a heap of extras including an inflatable porch awning (Sunn Camp Swift Air beam 220). It will be fully serviced and damp-checked prior to sale and is an excellent choice of caravan on the secondhand market.
Built on an Al-Ko galvanised chassis featuring shock absorbers, Al-Ko stabilising hitch, 13-pin Jaeger connector, Al-Ko Euro overrun device with two way assisted handbrake, the Statesman has a striking gloss white exterior, bold graphics and a one-piece rear panel, all set off by attractive alloy wheels. There is a two-part external door with integrated window, blind and waste bin.
At the front of the Statesman, 3 double-glazed windows provide a panoramic view from the lounge area, which incorporates two bench seats with storage underneath, which can be used as single beds or converted into a double, using the pull out slats underneath the chest of drawers/TV point. There is a handy pull-out table and a separate folding table if more room for dining is required. The front windows, like all the windows in the caravan, are fitted with flyscreens and blackout blinds. There is a Heki 2 rooflight, also with an integrated blackout blind and flycreen, which provides light and ventilation to the lounge. The upholstery features soft muted colours in a modern design, complemented by matching bolster and scatter cushions, curtains on a double track, and removable carpets over wood-block effect flooring. Storage is provided under the seats and in the overhead lockers which are of spaceframe construction and finished in warm beech effect with brushed nickel handles.
Further back in the caravan is a second TV point which is fed by a Status 530 directional aerial (and external TV/Satelite connection point), and this unit also houses the Truma dual-fuel heater which when required, sends centrally-heated blown air throughout the caravan. Opposite the TV point is a well-appointed kitchen with a 107l Dometic fridge with removable freezer compartment. The kitchen also boasts a Stoves thermostatic oven and separate grill with a dual-fuel hob with 800w hotplate, glass hob lid and safety cut out feature. There is also a recessed stainless steel kitchen sink with removable drainer and chopping board and a chrome finished mixer tap.
Opposite the kitchen is a domestic-style door which leads to the spacious washroom whch has a separate fully-lined shower in gloss white, in its own cubicle. There is also a Thetford C-250 cassette toilet with an electric flush and a gloss white wash-basin with chrome mixer tap, in a vanity unit.
The highlight of this layout is the fixed 'island' bed which allow access to and from the bed on both sides. The fixed bed features a luxurious sprung mattress on a spaceframe, which lifts up on gas struts, to access the large storage area underneath. The bedroom also has 'aircraft style' overhead storage lockers and LED reading lights.
The power systems comprise a fully protected mains electricity system with a 12v control panel with battery state meter, tank level indicator and water pump switch, 3 x 230v sockets, a RCD/MCD fuseboard. This model has a high pressure water pump, a 40 litre underfloor insulated fresh water tank and a dual-fuel mains lectricity and gas water storage heater.
This ACE Jubilee Statesman comes with extras including a Sunn Camp 220 inflatable porch awning, 2 gas bottles, a 40l Aquaroll, new leisure battery and Wastemaster, caravan step and 25m hook-up cable. It comes with service history and all the original owners manuals and will be fully serviced and damp-checked by an independent specialist, providing real peace of mind for the new owner.
