Technical Specifications:
This 4 berth Abbey Spectrum 540-4 is in good external and internal condition for the age of the caravan and will be fully valeted inside and out by us and serviced and damp-checked by an independent specialist. It comes complete with all the manuals and paperwork (including a service history).
The Abbey Spectrum 540-4 has an extremely popular layout. At the front, the lounge area is spacious, with two bench seats which can be used as single beds or converted into a large double utilising a pull-out slat system mounted under a chest of drawers. The seats can be lifted to access the large storage space underneath. The chest of drawers also has a handy fold-out coffee table and for mealtimes, there is a folding dining table stored in the central island. At the front of the caravan, 3 polyplastic double glazed windows feature fly nets and blinds.
Between the bedroom and the kitchen, is a compartment specifically for a TV (a 19" television fits perfectly - not included in sale), which can face either into the bedroom or the lounge, and has 12v, 230v and aerial sockets.
Moving back through the caravan, the kitchen is positioned in the mid section. The kitchen unit has a dual-fuel hob (3 gas burners and an electric hotplate), and there is a domestic-style glass fromted grill and oven, Dometic 3-way fridge with ice box and a bi-directional 3-speed extractor/intake fan. There is ample food/utensil storage space and worktops for food preparation.
At the rear of the Abbey Spectrum 540-4 is a very large bathroom with a swivelling Thetford c-250 toilet, spacious shower cubicle, wardrobe, sink, mirror and ample storage, including a very handy heated airing cupboard.
Also in the rear of the caravan, on the opposite side to the washroom, is a bedroom which can be completely separated from the rest of the caravan by a concertina partition. The bed is a desirable fixed bed which lifts up on gas struts to access the large storage space underneath. There is lots of additional storage in overhead lockers and shelving units around the bed. There are 12 volt and 240 volt reading lights and ceiling lights and a Heiki rooflight.
All windows are fitted with independent blinds and fly-screens and there are the two large Heki rooflights providing light and ventilation. The two-part door also has a flyscreen.
The Truma 3002 blown air heating and space heater work off electric and gas. The Truma Ultrastore water heater can also be used with electric or gas. There is an internal water tank.
There is an awning/exterior light (plus an extra awning light), an 240v electric socket in the front locker and an exterior gas barbeque point.
The caravan has a Alko stabiliser fitted and tows very well.
This is an ideal caravan for a couple or family looking for a large caravan with a fixed bed, at a great price.
