The Bailey Senator Virginia Series 5 is a very high specification 4 berth single axle caravan, with a sought after fixed ‘island’ bed and comes loaded with all the equiment you require for the perfect caravanning holiday.  This range of caravans by Bailey won a number of awards in 2007 and received excellent reviews by many of the caravan magazines and organisations.

This attractive and well-presented caravan has a practical and highly regarded layout incorporating a spacious fixed island bed in the rear, with two single beds in the front, which can be converted into a comfortable pull-out double.  The well-appointed bathroom and kitchen areas are situated in the mid-section, giving a spacious feel to the inside of the caravan.

The caravan has had light use only and comes from a non-smoking home.  As the interior and exterior photographs show, the caravan has been extremely well-looked after and is ready to enjoy immediately.

The Bailey Senator Virginia has a very practical layout to suit both couples and families wanting a comfortable caravanning holiday.  In the front of the caravan are twin singles or a large double bed, and in the rear there is a separate bedroom with a fixed ‘island’ double bed, with standing room at either side.

In the middle of the caravan is a bathroom with Thetford c250 swivelling cassette toilet with electric flush and integrated header tank shower.

The front section of the caravan has a spacious lounge area, which comfortably seats 4 or 5 people and incorporates large ‘aircraft-style’ overhead storage cupboards and a chest of drawers.  The wooden slats for the pull out bed roll out easily from below these drawers. The lockers and doors throughout the caravan are finished in a warm cherry wood effect, this adds to the light and airy feel of the interior, complemented by premium quality fixtures and fittings in matt nickel.  Set into the roof of the lounge is a large Heki roof-light, which lets in copious amounts of sunlight as well as plenty of ventilation when fully opened.

The soft furnishings are in excellent condition with the upholstery presented in Bailey’s contemporary ‘Matisse’ design, with co-ordinating lined curtains and shaped arm rests. The caravan features a practical wood-effect vinyl flooring throughout, with detatchable carpets (for all but the bathroom).

The well appointed kitchen has a Spinflo Midi Prima Mk2 built-in cooker which has been un-used during the life of the caravan.  The cooker has a 4 ring gas hob, separate grill and oven.  There is also a built-in Daewoo microwave oven and 104 litre Dometic dual-fuel fridge with a full width ice box.  There is plenty of food/cooking utensil storage space, ample worktops and the original equipment chopping board is present. There is a Omni-vent 3 speed extractor fan giving excellent ventilation.

The rear bedroom has a Heki rooflight and can be completely partitioned from the rest of the caravan. It has a Heki roof light set above the bed and lots of storage in overhead lockers, under the fixed bed and in a large wardrobe. The fixed ‘island’ bed has a very comfortable and luxurious mattress. There are reading lights mounted above either side of the bed.  To one side of the bed is a vanity unit with sink, mirror and cupboard.

The Truma blown air heating, space heater and Ultrastore 800w water heater both are dual fuel (electric and gas), there is also an onboard water tank to increase water carrying capacity. The caravan is fitted with both 12V and 240V lighting system. All the windows are fitted with flyscreens and a blackout blind. There is a smoke detector.

There is a TV station with 230V, 12V and coax aerial sockets. Mounted on the roof is a status aerial (digital compatable).

There are alloy wheels with good tyres, an external BBQ point and an external 240v socket for power to an awning.   A spare wheel is carried in the ‘under-slung’ carrier. The windows are etched with the CRiS number.

The caravan also comes with all of the relevant Bailey owner’s manuals and additional equipment instructions.

In summary, this is an extremely well-presented, Virginia caravan from the extremely popular Bailey Senator range, featuring the sought-after fixed ‘island’ bed layout.  In fantastic condition throughout, with full service history and recent service/damp check, this caravan needs nothing except a new owner to hitch up and enjoy a comfortable, relaxing caravanning holiday.
