This high specification, 4 berth, Lunar Solaris 3, single axle caravan has a very desirable layout with a fixed island bed, separate toilet and shower cubicles, generously sized kitchen and spacious lounge. It is CRiS registered, comes complete with a full set of manuals and paperwork and has a full service history, the most recent full service and damp check in Nov 2016. The caravan comes from a non-smoking home and is a credit to it’s previous owner.
The large end bedroom has a fixed island bed with a deep pocket sprung mattress for total sleeping comfort. His and hers wardrobes are set either side of the bed, there is also ample storage in the overhead aircraft style lockers and under the bed (the mattress lifts up with the aid of gas assisted struts). Reading lights set above either side of the bed. A Heki roof light creates a light and airy feel.
The Lunar Solaris 3 enjoys a split washroom layout in the mid-section of the caravan. The shower cubicle is a good size and the toilet cubicle has a Thetford toilet (electric flush), sink and vanity unit, the door can be used to separate the bedroom from the living area.
As you would expect, there is a well-appointed kitchen with 3 way large Dometic fridge (with freezer compartment). There is an oven, grill and 4 ring hob (3x gas and 1x electric). An eye level built in Daewoo microwave oven is situated above the workspace. There is ample food/ utensil storage and worktops. There is a bi-directional extractor fan above the cooker. Opposite the kitchen there is a dresser with more storage and work space.
The lounge has deep comfortable sofas and is perfect for relaxing or enjoying a meal with family or friends using the dining table provided. It has two single beds or a large double utilising a pull out slat system mounted under the chest of drawers, which has a fold-out table. There is plenty of storage in the overhead aircraft style lockers and also under the seats. There is a large roof light creating an airy and light feel to the living area. The detachable carpets have a wood effect vinyl flooring underneath. The light coloured soft furnishings come complete with scatter cushions. There is a factory fitted DVD/CD/radio entertainment system with 2 x TV points.
The windows, roof lights and stable door all come with fly screen and blackout blinds. There is an on-board water tank, large front locker, polyplastic double glazed windows with night ventilation latches, awning light, external Gas BBQ socket, alloy wheels with good tyres, spare wheel and Al-Ko chassis with an Al-Ko 3004 stabiliser. The caravan has an assisted hand brake and 7 pin towing electrics plugs. This caravan has been fitted with a factory alarm system.
The Truma space heater/blown air heater and water heater can both run off electric and gas, circulating heat throughout the caravan.
The Solaris has been fitted with an Enduro motor mover, making siting this caravan a very easy operation, even on tricky driveways and pitches. This sale includes a 25m hook up cable, Aqua-roll, Waste-master, microwave, gas bottle, smoke detector and caravan step.
This is a large caravan, but for it's size Lunar have managed to keep it's total weight (MTPLM) to just 1450, therefore it could be towed with an averaged sized 4x4 or large family car.
In summary, this a great example of a high spec, single axle touring caravan with the desirable fixed bed resulting in a peaceful night's sleep. it comes with a motor-mover and extras, and will be fully valeted serviced and damp-checked by an independent specialist, providing real peace of mind for the new owner. At this price, it's excellent value for money and just needs a new owner to hitch up and take it away on it's next fun-filled family caravanning holiday.
