Based on the Swift Charisma 620 and featuring the same layout but with upgraded furnishings and equipment, this Swift Archway Caldecott is a special edition caravan, made by Swift for White Arches Caravans in Northamptonshire, and designed to offer the very best in luxury accommodation. This 2008 Swift has a versatile layout, featuring a fixed bed and large end washroom with walk-in shower.  This caravan has been very well cared for by its owner and comes with a number of essential extras, providing real value for money.

Built on an AL-KO galvanised chassis, the Swift features all the modern requirements for safe towing and security including shock absorbers for smooth towing, 2-way assisted handbrake, and AL-KO 3004 stabiliser hitch.  For security, the caravan has Cris-etched windows and a passive infra alarm with tilt sensor.  The exterior features gloss white one piece ABS front and rear panels and one piece alumininium sidewalls finished in contrasting metallic silver, which combined with the 'Storm' alloy wheels and bold graphite decals, result in a caravan with a thoroughly modern and attractive apearance.  This caravan looks fantastic whether being towed on the road or sited on a touring pitch.

A two-part exterior door with with molded interior liner, window, blind, flyscreen and waste bin, leads to the spacious and well-appointed interior.

At the very front of the caravan, 3 polyplastic windows feature cassette blinds, flyscreens and night-ventilation latches provide a panoramic view from the living area. The lounge has deep comfortable sofas in spaceframe construction, and is perfect for relaxing or enjoying a meal with family or friends.  The sprung seating is upholstered in an attractive and high quality fabric in neutral tones, and is complemented by matching curtains, scatter cushions, arm rests and luxury deep-pile drop in carpets, over a wood-block effect floor.  The lounge seating can be used as two small single beds or converted into a large double utilising a pull out slat system. There is also a chest of drawers with self-closing mechanism with a fold-out coffee table.  If a larger table is required there is a 'fold out' dining table which has it's own stowage within the kitchen cupboard. There is plenty of storage in the overhead 'aircraft style' lockers, which are finished in a beautiful 'Oregon Pine' effect with grey accents and chrome handles and there is additional storage under the seats.  The large Heki Deluxe panoramic roof light creates an airy and light feel to the living area and is fitted with an 'easy-use' cassette blind and flyscreen.

As you would expect with a top of the range Swift caravan, there is a well-appointed kitchen with large, full-height Dometic 175 litres fridge, with separate freezer and digital controls providing all the cold food storage required on a holiday.  There is a Thetford dual fuel hob with 800w electric hotplate and 3 gas burners with electronic ignition and glass hob lid.  A domestic-style thermostatic oven and separate grill, combined with built in 700w microwave oven set at eye level, ensures the ability to cater for every kind of meal, from a simple breakfast to a full roast dinner.  There is ample food and utensil storage in lockers and cupboards, finished in the same attractive 'Oregon Pine', as well as slide out storage racks.  A granite-look sink with chrome finsihed mixer tap, removable sink drainer and food grade chopping board completes the kitchen equipment.  A bi-directional, 3 speed extractor fan is situated above the cooker, providing plenty of ventilation.

The twin axle Swift's main distinguishing feature is a large bedroom with a fixed double bed incorporating an 'Ultra Comfort' pocket sprung mattress for total sleeping comfort.  This set up allows the bed to be left made up for the duration of your holiday, with the added beneft of being able to lift the bed frame on its gas struts, to access the large storage space underneath.  The bedroom can be separated from the rest of the caravan for privacy.   Also in this bedroom is a large wardrobe with a courtesy light, drawers, and overhead 'aircraft style' lockers, all finished in 'Oregon Pine'.  There is a Heki roof light above the bed adding to a feeling of spaciousness and also providing the opportunity to stare up at the stars on clear nights!

This Swift doesn't compromise on space with washroom facilities either: this model has an impressively spacious bathroom in the rear of the caravan, accessed through a 32mm thick domestic style door.  The walk-in shower cubicle is very roomy, and features a separate drying area, chrome finished mixer tap and shower head.  There is a swivelling Thetford C250 cassette toilet (with electric flush), a very useful dirty laundry container, sink, mirror and ample storage, with all furniture furnished in 'Oregon Pine'.

Swift provided increased levels of luxury with the heating system too and this twin-axle model has the Alde Hydronic Compact 3010 radiator heating system with combined water heating which gives total programmable timer control over the temperature in the caravan.  Combined with the Grade 11 insulation in the Swift, this is a caravan which can be comfortably used all year round.

Other equipment in the Swift includes five 230v sockets, 12v LCD touch control panel with battery selection, lighting, water tank level and water pump circuit controls.

The lighting in the Swift is a mix of 12v spot lighting, over-locker ambient lighting and 230v mains lighting, all featuring LED energy saving bulbs giving a 50% reduction in total power consumption.

For entertainment, the Swift is equipped with a CD/radio/mp3 player with ipod connectivity and there are two TV positions with 230v, 12v and aerial sockets and a Status 530 drectional aerial to ensure excellent reception.

This caravan comes with service history and the original manuals and handbooks.  It will be valeted inside and out by us and serviced and damp-checked by an independent specialist, ensuring real peace of mind for a new owner.

In summary, this Swift Archway Caldecott is a fantastic example of a very high spec, twin axle 4 berth touring caravan, with a layout which does not compromise on living, kitchen or washroom space and also has the all-important fixed bed.  Fitted with every available extra, including Alde central heating, this well-cared for caravan is simply excellent value for money.  It just needs a new owner to hitch up and take it on its next exciting caravan holiday.
