There are also some helpful information books and files all labelled up so that the new owners will find getting to grips with the motorhome much easier. "Hugo" having very much been cherished comes with an entire box folder full of labelled receipts and paperwork, plus the usual handbooks and owners manuals in their own Autosleeper bag.
As you unlock the motorhome using the push button remote control key, the power step lowers and the doors unlock. As you step into the motorhome everything is perfectly placed and to hand, and being an Autosleeper Boardway, the trim of both the upholstery and cupboards and lockers wood work is exemplary. If you walk though the central isle and sit in the driver's seat you will find the controls you need are on the wheel, and these include the Cruise Control, stereo, and computer functions as well as indicators, lights and wiper controls. The centre of the dash houses the aftermarket double-DIN sat-nav stereo system which was specially purchased with the software enabling is to be programmed taking into account the length of the vehicle to avoid ending up down tight and tricky roads! Being the 2.2 HDi engine with 150 and a 6-speed manual gearbox this motorhome has ample power when needed. Having picked the vehicle up and driven it 50+ miles I can testify as to how well it drives - but please remember "Hugo" will still have a new MOT and mechanical service prior to being handed over for even more peace of mind. Below the stereo in the central dash is a rather handy additional drinks holder with space for mobile phones and dual charger options. Both the front Captain seats swivel to enable them to be used once the vehicle is pitched giving additional seating in case of guests.
The main habitation area consists of two opposing settees which at night are pulled out to give a good sized double bed. There are lockers below one of which holds a safe, as well as matching overhead lockers - all operate on a push button mechanism to eliminate opening when the vehicle is being driven. Behind this area is the kitchen. On either side there are kitchen worktop spaces, on the offside there is a pull out extension and here you will see the 3-way fridge feezer and built in microwave and on the nearside the stainless steel sink with chrome long neck mixer tap, overhead extractor fan, 3 gas hob + 1 electric hot plate cooker and a built in undercounter separate grill and oven. The oven even has an extra shelf which from personal experience is extremely handy.
Moving to the rear of the vehicle is the full width bathroom. Here there is a full size shower cubicle (which the previous owners never used), a Thetford cassette toilet and lovely "see-through" vanity basin with mixer tap and more storage with drawers, cupboards and wardrobe.
This vehicle also benefits from underslung gas tanks which supply all of the gas needs, and the whole vehicle's heating and hot water is provided by a Truma Combi boiler which can work using the 240V hook up when on site or the 12v and gas when off-grid.
At this price, in this condition and with all these extras "Hugo" is exceptional value for money.
