Built on an AL-KO galvanised chassis, featuring two-way assisted handbrake, shock absorbers, 13 -pin connection, AL-KO 3004 stabilising hitch, and desirable Al-Ko ATC electronic stability system, the Elegance has all the comforts of a luxury modern caravan which is easy to tow and site on touring pitches, thanks to the addition of a remote control motor mover. There is an awning/exterior light, exterior gas BBQ point, exterior shower point, exterior 240v socket, and a wet locker. The spare wheel is held in an underslung Alko carrier.
Utilising Swift's SMART HT intelligent construction system, with timber-less body frame and 'PURe' materials which are impervious to water, the new design means that there is no passage for water from the outer skin to the inner wallboard, making the caravan highly resilient to water ingress.
The imposing front windows, sunroof and rain deflector, combined with the one-piece high gloss, thick gauge aluminium sidewalls featuring striking graphite/red/silver decals, are set off by attractive Swift 'Scorpion' alloy wheels fitted with new tyres. Externally, the Elegance is an attractive and commanding caravan, thanks to the clean, uncomplicated appearance of the caravan's design.
The one-piece exterior entrance door has a moulded liner, window and blind. At the front of the caravan, 3 double glazed panoramic windows and a large, curved sunroof with ‘upwash lighting’, give a bright and airy feel to the spacious lounge area which has pocket sprung seating which can be used as two single beds or as a large double utilising a pull out slat system mounted under the chest of drawers. The drawer unit has a handy fold-out coffee table and there is a separate folding dining table allowing room for four to sit comfortably for mealtimes. There is plenty of storage in the space-frame design overhead 'aircraft-style' lockers, finished in beautiful gloss 'Aralie Sen' woodgrain, with cream infills and chrome handles. Chrome switches and sockets add to the contemporary feel. There is more storage under the seats. Above the sitting area is a large Heki Roof light providing fresh air ventilation and light when required. All the windows feature cassette blackout blinds, flyscreens and night-ventilation latches. The embossed soft furnishings are in a neutral cream and beige colour and of contemporary design and are complemented by matching scatter cushions and curtains. The carpets are detachable and there is a 'French Oak' woodblock effect vinyl flooring underneath. The mixture of LED mood and task lighting is controlled by a dimmer switch. There is an extra TV point (with 12v, 240v and aerial sockets) and a built-in branded CD/radio/MP3 player and upgraded speakers for your listening pleasure.
Moving back through the caravan, a well-appointed kitchen is positioned in the middle section of the Swift Elegance. and features an Aspire MK2 four ring hob (3 x gas and 1x electric 800w hotplate), Thetford thermostatic grill and oven, built-in ventilated microwave oven and 110 litre Dometic 3-way fridge with freezer box, featuring digital controls. There is also a recessed granite effect sink with chrome mixer tap and a removable drainer with dedicated storage. There is ample food/utensil storage space including a moulded cutlery drawer and slide out storage rack and plenty of worktop space for food preparation, finished in acrylic stone. In the ceiling above the kitchen is an Omnivent multi-directional, 3 speed extractor fan. Opposite the kitchen are cupboards, shelves and more useful workspace.
At the rear of the caravan, a domestic-style door leads to a spacious and luxurious bathroom which features a large, fully lined, easy access walk-in shower cubicle with chrome 'Ecocamel' shower head and mixer tap. The bathroom is also equipped with a Thetford C-260 swivelling cassette toilet with electric flush, wash basin with chrome mixer tap, vanity unit with mirror, cupboards and large wardrobe.
The top of the range Elegance has the ALDE radiator central heating and water heating system, featuring daily programmability via the LCD control panel ensure that heating and hot water is available when required, even if the owner is out for the day!
For security, there is a factory fitted Thatcham 'Tracker Retrieve' alarm with PIR and tilt sensors. A user-friendly 12v control panel shows battery selection, state meter, lighting, water tank level and water pump circuit controls. all at eye level.
