The 2016 Sprite Major 6 TD is a six berth model where the front seating converts to a double bed or two single beds, a centre washroom with separate shower cubicle and a rear corner dinette which converts to a single bed with bunk over, opposite two fixed rear bunks. As with all caravans sold by Piran, this caravan will go through an NCC Approved Workshop full service for that extra Piran peace of mind as well as an internal and external clean. Piran also offers a full handover to the new owners to ensure they can hitch up and use their new purchase straight away.
As with most caravans sold by Piran a lot of extras are included, and this caravan is no exception. To say you would be saving thousands of pounds is no exageration. The 2016 Sprite Major 6 TD really is a very clever design, cramming in so much, yet leaving the internal space useable and not at all cramped and is really designed with the young family in mind. Four rear bunks give even the largest of young families enough beds to enable each child to have their own sleeping space. The two fixed bunks both have their own windows and a curtain which can pulled around them for some privacy. The dinette area opposite converts into a good sized single bed with a smaller bunk which folds out above it. The front of the caravan converts into a large double bed by pulling out the web-linked slats.
The upholstery throughout the caravan is light and modern looking, giving the caravan an up market feel. The three front windows enable a lot of light into the caravan and complemented by the large fixed panoramic roof and at night they all have black out blinds ensuring a good nights sleep.
The bathroom has a shower cubicle, Thetford cassette toilet, vanity sink and provision for hanging towels.
The kitchen contains everything you need to feed the family. Three burner gas hob, separate grill and oven, large sink with chrome mixer tap, 3-way under counter sink and built in eye level microwave. There is ample storage both here and throughout the caravan with overhead lockers, under seat lockers and a good sized wardrobe. Eating once dinner is ready can be done at the rear in the dinette area, or on the small pull out table in the centre of the front of the caravan. In addition to this there is also a separate table which can be put up when needed.
The chassis and running gear is made by Alko and I can testify that it tows very well as I picked the caravan up from near Bude and it towed perfectly enroute to Piran.
