In the Challenger Sport 584 SR, the transverse island beds head board is positioned on the nearside of the caravan, with an ‘Duvalay’ thick luxurious mattress on an aluminium spaceframe, which lifts up on gas struts to access the spacious storage area underneath. The bedroom can be partitioned from the rest of the caravan, for total privacy and there is a TV station positioned at the rear of the bed. As well as the under bed storage, there is additional storage in the overhead lockers and in a large wardrobes either side of the bed. There are 2 reading lights positioned over the bed, and a roof mounted Heki roof light ensuring that the bedroom is light, airy and well-ventilated.
In the Challenger 584 SR, the large well-aapointed bathroom is situated at the rear, featuring an electric Thetford flush cassette toilet, fully lined walk-in shower cubicle and a vanity unit with sink, mirror and cupboard.
The front section of the caravan has a large lounge area, with large overhead storage lockers, storage under the seats, a pull out coffee table and an additional folding dining table which is neatly stored in a separate cupbard. The lounge comfortably seats 4 people. Set into the roof of the lounge is a large Heki II panoramic roof light - this gives the lounge a light and airy feel as well as plenty of ventilation when fully opened. There is a second TV point conveniently sited above the pull out table. The soft furnishings are an attractive, light and contemporary design, in neutral tones. The deep pile carpets are detachable with a hardwearing wood effect vinyl flooring beneath.
The well-appointed kitchen has a Thetford four ring hob (3 x gas, 1 x electric), separate grill and oven, a built in Daewoo 700w microwave oven and a Dometic 115 litre 3-way fridge with a full width ice box. There is plenty of food/cooking utensil storage space, ample worktops with down lighting. There is an attractive granite-look sink and achrome finish mixer tap, fed by a high performance water system.
The caravan is fitted with both 12V and 240V LED energy saving lighting system (inc LED porch light). All the windows are complete a fly screen and a blackout blind, and the habitation door has a full length fly screen. There is a smoke detector. There is an inbuilt CD/Radio/MP3 player with iPod connectivity, 2x TV stations with 230V, 12V and coax aerial sockets.
There are smart ’Storm’ alloy wheels (a spare wheel is stowed in an Al-ko wheel carrier under the caravan), AL-KO 3004 stabiliser. There is a modern 13 pin DIN standard socket to connect to the car towing electrics.
The caravan has been fitted with a Power Touch motor mover for easy siting on even the tightest of pitches and a Truma 150w Solar panel keeping the caravan battery fully charged at all time ready to use the 12v system or for when you might need to make light work of moving the carvan with the Power Touch motor mover.
