This luxury 6 berth Swift Elegance Grande 655 caravan will really turn heads when it turns up at a campsite. Being 8 feet wide and a twin axle it is an imposing caravan and will need an SUV or large tow vehicle to tow it. As you can see from the photos, this caravan is striking and leaves you in no doubt the fact it is a high end top of the range caravan from Swift.
As with all caravans brokered here by Piran Caravans this Swfit will have gone through an NCC Approved full service prior to it being sold and as this is a one owner, smoke and pet free caravan with a full service history it still has the manufacturers 10 year water ingress warranty reminaing. Also like so many of our caravans this comes with a lot of extras worth thousands of pounds already inculded in the sale price. The Elegance range by swift is their flagship range and Swift really ensured that they came with everything. It has the Swift Command System which enables you to control all of the caravans functions at the press of a button this system also has the updated Swift Command App enabling you to operate the caravan from your phone. It also has a solar panel, Alde wet central heating system, front and rear speakers built into the roof, Thule rear bars (these enable a Thule bike rack to be fitted to the rear of the caravan without any further works), Alko ATC and hitch stabiliser, Alloy wheels, the list goes on.
But it is the layout that sets the 655 apart from other 6 berth caravans. It has two large fixed bunks to the rear, a large double bed at night in the lounge area and a drop down large fixed double that during the day makes up the offside wall in part of the large lounge area. Watch the vidoes online for a better idea of how this works. If you want the option of multiple comfortable large double beds as well as fixed bunk then nothing else can beat this caravan.
There is a well equipped L-shaped kitchen with granite effect worktop, back lit splash back, large stainless steel sink and chrome mixer tap, plenty of sockets for appliances, 3 gas burners and one electric hot plate, separate grill and oven, microwave and a large 190 litre Dometic fridge freezer. There is also plenty of storage in the overhead lockers and also in the drawers and cupboards beneath the kitchen worktop and there is an over head vent in the ceiling.
Opposite the kitchen is a huge double sliding doored wardrobe which given the size of the caravan is likewise large.
The front of the caravan has a huge L-shaped lounge area plus a circular pouffe which can be used as an extra seat if needed. To the nearside wall is a large area for placing even the largest of flat screen TV's as well as any other media "must haves" you may chose to travel with. There are good quality speakers which are connected to the DAB radio, plenty of sockets to keep everyone happy and everything is lit with LED lights making the whole area feel very modern. All of the windows have full blackout blinds and fly nets, as do the large skylights.
At night the lounge area converts into a large double bed where the occupants could happliy lie there and watch the flat screen TV. Behind this area built into the wall is the second "pull-down" double bed. Simply turn the handle and pull and out comes a fixed double bed with quality Duvalay matteress for a perfect nights sleep.
As you move from the kitched towards the rear of the caravan there are two large fixed bunk beds. The top bunk is rated to hold persons up to 11 stone, and the bottom bunk has no limit. Each person has their own window, and there is a spotlight for each person as well. The bottom bunk can also be lifted on gas assisted struts to reveal more storage space below it.
The whole rear width of the caravan is taken up with the large bathroom. Here you will find the Thetford electric cassette toilet, vanity sink area, heated towel rail and fully enclosed shower cubicle with Ecocamel shower head. In the bathroom there are well thought out shelves as well as even more storage spaces.
This Swift Elegance is constructed using the latest Swift "Smart 3" timberless construction which enables Swift to offer a 10 year water ingress warranty.
