Technical Specifications:
This particular motorhome and its owners have been personal friends of mine since I came into this industry many many years ago. This has been their pride and joy, and also being owners of a locally well loved camping and caravanning accessories shop the vehicle only had light use until their retirement.
They retired and have been out and about in this wonderful motorhome as much as they could since. Unfortunately, due to an unforeseen illness they now find themselves unable to use their motorhome and hence it is now with us here at Piran and up for sale.
I collected it and drove it here and can vouch for it driving faultlessly on the trip here. It comes with an alarm that will stop the ignition from starting if not disabled correctly.
The 2.8l Peugeot engine has covered 76K miles pulls well and is accompanied by a manual 5-speed gearbox, power steering and electric windows etc. It comes with a full mechanical service history and has been looked after regardless of cost. This motorhome will cruise all day in a relaxed manner and will get to European destinations in its stride. Weighing in with Gross Vehicle Weight of 3500KG this motorhome can be driven on a normal driving license. It is 6.7m long and gives a good amount of living space for a 4 berth motorhome. There is a two bicycle bike rack, ladder to gain access to the roof and a rear substantial crash bar that a tow ball could be attached to. There is also a large Fiama wind out awning – for those evening drinks undercover.
The cockpit seats are very comfortable and can be swivelled around for additional seating once all set up giving additional seating in to the front of the van in addition to the two long opposing settees. These settees gives 2 sleeping options: 2 x singles at 6’6”x 2’3”, or a large double at 6’11” x4’3”. Storage is plentiful with overhead lockers complimented by useable space underneath the settees.
Forward of the seating/lounge area, and above the cab is the second large sleeping area with its own window accessed by a ladder. It is a very cosy place to sleep and a great area to relax and unwind with your own thoughts.
The kitchen is well equipped with a 4 burner gas hob, sperate grill and oven, large sink with a mixer tap and plenty of work top for food preparation over the large area above the undercounter fridge freezer. Here there is also a drinks cabinet, shelving and lots many more overhead lockers all finished in a light oak veneer giving this motorhome a very nice and light ambience.
The bathroom has a swivelling toilet, vanity unit with large mirror and a fully enclosed shower cubicle. Meaning that if you stop and do not have bathroom facilities then this motorhome has everything you need.
It will go through an independent NCC Approved workshop habitation service and has a long MOT until XX and was last serviced on XX at XX miles.
This really is a superb way of getting into motorhomes and experiencing life out on the road with all the freedom it gives you, stopping where you want and moving on with ease.
As the couple have retired, they are leaving every essential extra you could need included in the sale price. Included in the sale price: 19” TV, solar panel and charger, built in “Mi-Fi”, Wastemaster and waste pipe, electrical hook up cable, 2 x gas bottles, step, toaster, gas kettle, Kampa inflatable travel pod XL and much much more. To buy these extras would cost you hundreds and hundreds of pounds and they are all included in the sale price.
Summing up this motorhome; 4 berths, large beds, great service history, long MOT, and a list of extras worth a small fortune – all for a price that makes this the cheapest Autocruise Starquest EL in the country.
