Technical Specifications:
This 2001 Citreon Berlingo 1.9 diesel has been exceptionally well maintained and has only covered 45K miles from new. It had a service at the end of September 2024 and covered just 3 miles between then and its MOT in February of this year. It is being sold so that someone else can now enjoy this wonderful example of the "Surf" edition little camper. It drives just like a car, but when you arrive onsite there is no need to pitch a tent and all the fuss that goes with it - simply turn off the engine and enjoy!
As can be seen from the photos the vehicle is in fatastic condition and belies its age throughout having been cared for by its previous owners.
Inside there is suprisingly more space than you would expect. The two opposing settees can easily sit 4 people if not more should you wish to invite some friends in for a drink when the weather outside turns for the worst. The nearside seating area can also convert into a dinette for two people to eat at from the neatly packaged table which when not in use makes up part of the single bed base on that side.
The "Surf" has two single beds which utilise the two settees at night. However, by combining the extra cushions and supporting boards the whole front can be turned into a double bed. Throughout the vehicle there are aircraft style overhead lockers and a huge cupboard/locker above the driving cab area. Both seating areas have their own large windows which can be left open and have fly nets and curtains with matching pelmets. There is a central light mounted in the ceiling as well as a spotlight for each bed/settee area.
To the rear of the camper is a small kitchen area and bathroom. In the bathroom there is a Thetford cassette toilet and a wall mounted vanity unit with mirror and a toilet roll holder. There is also a hanging rail in this room to enable you to use it as a wardrobe or simply to hang towels etc.
The kitchen consists of a sink with running water, a 2 burner gas hob, a grill and a fridge. There is a pull our cutlery drawer below the sink and a further cupboard below that. Above the kitchen area is another cupboard and the electrical control system.
This little camper has a 240V hook up inlet and 240V socker as well as 12V for lighting etc .
To the front of the vehicle is the driving area with 2 comfortable sets, a stereo, manual gearbox, heating controls and vents etc. There are also a pair of heavy duty rubber mats to stop the footwell areas getting messy when getting in and out of the vehicle with wet shoes.
To appreciate this Tardis like vehicle it needs to be seen.
As with all vehicles that are sold through our brokerage it will have been through an NCC Approved Workshop full service prior to being sold for that extra peace of mind.
