Set in the beautiful surroundings of the North Cornwall coastline, near Treyarnon Bay, Trethias Farm enjoys some uninterrupted views of the surrounding countryside, Trevose Head, Bodmin Moor and sometimes even St. Ives Bay on an exceptional day.

Welcoming touring caravans, motorhomes and tents, all of the touring pitches are positioned around the edge of the fields, leaving the middle open for games and cycling. The site itself is only yards from the South West Coast Path, with Padstow a day’s walk to the north, and the outstanding Bedruthan Steps to the south.

Accessed by a small private road, Trethias is just a 5 minute walk to the nearest beach, Treyarnon Bay, which is a dog friendly beach even during summer, and also lifeguard patrolled. The park provides a special dog walking field with fantastic sea views, although dogs must be on a lead within the park itself.

Trethias is ideal for families and couples, seeking a classic camping holiday, and looking to avoid the usual cramped over developed parks.  For this reason, Trethias has no on-site entertainment or clubs, uses minimal lighting at night, and does not accept bookings of large groups in high season, all of which adds up to a natural, friendly feel around the park.

Trethias Farm Caravan Park has been family owned and run since the 1950s, and little has changed since its beginning, other than the installation of the type of facilities that you would expect today.  The park is also an award winning conservation park, with wildlife havens and bird protection areas surrounding the camping fields.

Facilities at Trethias include:

• Toilets and showers (good heating, lighting and extraction)

• Shaver points

• Hairdryer

• Iron and board

• Washing machine

• Tumble dryer

• Spin dryer

• Washing up points

• Handwashing sinks

• WIFI

• Waste and recycling points

• Caravan and motorhome checmical disposal points

• Waterpoints

• Electrical pitches

When towing a caravan to Trethias it is essential that you take the route as per their website. Following your Sat Nav will take you on a route that is VERY narrow.

The address for Trethias Farm is: Trethias Farm Camping & Caravan Park, Treyarnon Bay, St Merryn, Padstow, Cornwall, PL28 8PL

Treago Farm near Crantock has been a family favourite for decades (the Piran Caravans’ Sales Manager has photos of him sitting on a tractor whilst on a tenting holiday on the farm, taken 43 years ago!) Treago Farm has an enviable setting, being surrounded by National Trust Land, Cubert Common and completely unspoiled headlands.  With all the main amenities available on site, many of their visitors find they rarely need to use their car.   Their aim is to make your holiday as comfortable and enjoyable as possible and the owners get a great sense of satisfaction from seeing many of their visitors return each year to meet up with friends from previous holidays and of course to enjoy the natural beauty that surrounds the farm.

Treago Farm has 81 grassed camping pitches surrounded by beautiful, unspoiled countryside and the location makes a great base for both beach lovers and walkers alike. Pleasant walks take you on footpaths which lead you across common land and through sand dunes to the village of Crantock and to the nbeautiful nearby beaches of Crantock and Polly Joke.

With your comfort in mind the campsite offers good, clean facilities with ample toilet and shower rooms, with constant hot water.

The courtyard barns house a bar and well stocked shop selling a wide selection of produce including newspapers and fresh bread. There is a games room with table tennis and pool table and the site has a volley ball pitch. You'll find plenty of open space to fly a kite and picnic benches scattered around to sit and enjoy the views.

Dogs are also welcome!

Situated near Portscatho, on the outstandingly beautiful and unspoilt Roseland Peninsula, Treloan Campsite is open all year round and features panoramic sea views from many of the pitches.  Touring caravans, tents and motorhomes are all welcomed and the campsite has standard grass and hard-standing pitches, both with electric hook up.

The facilities on the campsite are pleasingly simple and include two toilet blocks with showers, toilets and basins, dish washing facilities, freezer for ice packs and washing machine.  There is no loud club, restaurant or entertainment - thankfully this is a quiet, relaxing, campsite where a good book is more valuable than a good wi-fi connection.

The location of the campsite is perfect for exploring this strip of outstanding beauty on Cornwall’s South coast.   Bordered by the sea on two sides and the beautiful Fal River on another, visitors can experience the best sandy beaches, narrow country lanes, real ale in historic pubs, churches and castles, picturesque harbours, quaint villages, cream teas.   Nearby sleepy Gerrans and buzzing fishing village Portscatho offer pubs, shops, art galleries and Post Office, and are only a short, beautiful, stroll away.  The nearby harbour village of St Mawes with it's walled seafront, castle and magnificent sub-tropical plants, which becomes a lively little yachting haven in the summer months and has a good choice of shops, pubs, restaurants and indulge in the obligatory cream tea.

Treloan campsite has strong links with local artists, writers and musicians and lots of eco/art/music activities happen throughout the high season, including ”Fireside Sessions” for poetry & music on Wednesday nights, mid-July through August from 6.30pm for Treloan visitors and local residents.  Another can take part annual event is ‘FEAST’ a local food banquet, which supports local food retailers / producers and creates culinary delights to bring to visitors tables.

The address for Treloan is: Treloan Campsite, Treloan Lane, Gerrans, Portscatho TR2 5EF.
